About this file

This document is a Specifications document for a Microplate Reader procurement by the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southern Regional Research Center (SRRC) in New Orleans, Louisiana. The specifications detail a highly specialized scientific instrument required for bacterial growth and agricultural research, with precise technical requirements including housing and heating capabilities, temperature control up to 40 degrees Celsius, an integrated injector system, a continuously-operational humidity cassette, gas control module for different atmospheric conditions, and measurement capabilities for absorbance and fluorescence. Additional requirements include compatibility with 115V electrical systems, comprehensive software for operation and data handling, and a minimum one-year manufacturer's warranty.

The procurement calls for one microplate reader to be delivered to the USDA ARS SRRC within 8 weeks, with multiple points of contact provided: Shantell Franklin (store room staff), Gillian Bruni (technical contact), and Evan Terrell (additional contact). The delivery address is 1100 Allen Toussaint Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124, and the instrument must be fully equipped with all necessary components, syringes, tubes, needles, and consumables for conducting complex biological experiments in varying environmental conditions.
