About this file

This document is a Requirements/Specifications Document for a High-Speed Near-Infrared Camera requested by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)/Communications Technology Laboratory (CTL). NIST is seeking a high-speed near-infrared camera capable of measuring small modulation signals in images up to 20 kHz center frequency for optical experiments. The key specifications include a linear pixel array with a minimum of 1024 x 1 pixels, sensor quantum efficiency greater than 40% from 0.9 um to 1.6 um, continuous full pixel array readout at 40 kHz or faster, per-pixel full well capacity greater than 100e6 electrons, and a 14-bit or higher analog-to-digital converter. NIST has also provided details on delivery, installation, training, warranty, calibration, and maintenance requirements. This is not a solicitation, but a sources sought announcement to determine if small businesses can fulfill the requirement, which has a NAICS code of 334413 for Semiconductor and Related Device Manufacturing.
