About this file
This document is a Specific Terms and Conditions file for a state procurement opportunity through the Alabama Division of Purchasing, involving a competitive bid process on the AlabamaBuys supplier portal. The contract is structured as an "all or none" award to the lowest responsible bidder, with an initial 12-month contract period and options to extend for up to four additional 12-month periods under the same pricing and terms. Bidders must submit their proposals through the vendor portal, with questions to be submitted by 4/18/2025, and all items ordered must be delivered within 30 days of the purchase order receipt.
The procurement allows for potential price adjustments with proper documentation of material or labor cost increases, requiring written approval from both the state and supplier. Bidders must provide new, unused materials of recent manufacture suitable for their intended purpose, and the state does not guarantee specific purchase quantities. Freight is F.O.B. destination, with all charges to be included in bid prices. The contract's continuation is contingent upon legislative fund appropriation, and the state reserves the right to procure goods from alternative sources if a supplier defaults, potentially subjecting the defaulting supplier to suspension or debarment.
