About this file
This document appears to be a set of Special Terms and Conditions for a state/local government contract opportunity. The contract is for work to be performed between 8:00am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with optional weekend work with prior approval. The contract will be awarded on a total sum basis to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder that is a DSBSD-certified micro business, if such a bid is received and deemed fair and reasonable by the agency. If not, the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible DSBSD-certified small business bidder, provided the bid is not more than $100,000 and deemed fair and reasonable. If neither of those criteria are met, the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder of any size, if the price is deemed fair and reasonable.
The contractor is responsible for all work and supervision, including any subcontractors utilized. There are requirements for the contractor and subcontractors to be properly licensed in Virginia, as well as to participate in the E-Verify program. The contractor must also inspect the job site prior to submitting a bid. Final inspection and acceptance of the work by the agency is required before final payment.
