About this file
This document is a detailed specification sheet for two heat pumps with precise technical requirements. The required heat pumps must be either an Aqualogic HP-53 or an equivalent model with matching specifications, including a 60K btuh (5 ton) capacity, 208-volt 3-phase electric power, low ambient temperature control, and the ability to heat or chill fresh or saltwater. Key specifications include a titanium heat exchanger fitted in an 8" insulated PVC pipe, indoor/outdoor functionality, corrosion-resistant base (304 stainless steel), and specific dimensional requirements of 51" long, 38" wide, and 75" tall. The heat pumps must have 2-inch inlet/outlet pipes with spears union fittings positioned at a 20" height from the ground and 37.5" width between pipe centers.
The specification sheet is associated with a USDA Agricultural Research Service solicitation (RFQ 1232SA25Q0373) for two heat pumps, classified as a total small business opportunity under NAICS code 334516. The solicitation requires quote submission by 5:00 PM EST on 8/5/25 to brian.brusky@usda.gov, with delivery expected 60 days after award to a facility in Stuttgart, Arkansas. The procurement follows simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items, with quotes evaluated based on attached RFQ terms and conditions. Potential vendors must complete representations in the System for Award Management (SAM) and demonstrate compliance with the specified heat pump technical characteristics.
