About this file
This is a specification document for a custom electrofishing boat and trailer system to be delivered to Sugar Ridge Fish and Wildlife Area (FWA) in Winslow, Indiana, under the jurisdiction of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (INDNR). The specification outlines a complete turnkey electrofishing vessel package consisting of a custom-welded aluminum boat measuring at least 19 feet long with specific hull dimensions and construction requirements, including marine-grade aluminum components with doubled-welded seams throughout. The boat must be equipped with a 105-horsepower jet output Mercury outboard motor (or approved alternative), a custom tandem-axle trailer with hydraulic surge brakes, and a 7-kilowatt Honda-powered inverter-style generator (or approved alternative). The package includes MLES Infinity HC-80 control box compatibility, two pivot/swing electrofishing booms with associated anode arrays and safety switches, comprehensive electrical systems with waterproof connectors, and all stainless-steel hardware. Delivery is required to Sugar Ridge FWA at 2310 E State Road 364, Winslow, IN 47598, with contact made prior to delivery to Craig Jansen at the specified office, cell, and email contact information.
The specification document does not contain information regarding pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding sources, contract amounts, response dates, or award timelines. The single-quantity procurement appears to represent a complete system integration requiring coordination of multiple component suppliers and custom fabrication services, with all electrofishing equipment and wiring specified to exacting standards for safety, compatibility with INDNR vessels, and operational performance in wildlife management applications.
