About this file
This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support for the procurement of fiber rope assemblies.
Procurement Details: The RFQ SPE8EE-27-Q-0055, issued on October 26, 2026, seeks quotations for 5 units of Fiber Rope Assembly, Single Leg (NSN 4020-01-364-3737) with an expected delivery date of 99 days after order (November 9, 2026). Quotations must be submitted by November 2, 2026, via DIBBS to the DLA Troop Support office at 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5096. The item is identified as a critical safety item and critical application item requiring heightened quality assurance surveillance. Inspection and acceptance occur at the origin point, with FOB Origin delivery terms and firm fixed pricing. The contract will be subject to First Destination Transportation (FDT) program requirements with government-arranged transportation. This is not a small business set-aside. Quoters must provide complete data packages for evaluation, comply with MIL-STD-129 marking requirements, maintain 60-month shelf life (Type I, non-extendable), and include quantity break pricing if applicable. The apparently successful offeror must submit hazard warning labels and safety data sheets prior to award. Vendor registration in the Vendor Shipment Module (VSM) system is mandatory for shipment processing.
