About this file
This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime, Land Supplier Operations, Batteries/Tires division for procurement of a critical gun part subassembly.
The RFQ (SPE7L7-27-Q-0027) was issued on October 3, 2026, with a quotation deadline of October 13, 2026. The requisition number is 7017236356. The procuring activity seeks 15 units of National Stock Number (NSN) 1005-01-047-3296, a clamp subassembly muzzle, with delivery required 708 days after order (ADO) to DLA Distribution Depot Hill, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Quotations must be submitted to Charles Duncan, the buyer, at DLA Land and Maritime in Columbus, Ohio (charles.duncanjr@dla.mil, 614-693-7581). The pricing structure is firm fixed price with a 90-day quotation validity period. First Article Test (FAT) is required, involving two exhibits—one with phosphate coating and one without—with one unit potentially returnable to the contractor if approved and undamaged. Delivery point is origin with inspection and acceptance at the contractor's facility.
Technical and quality requirements incorporate multiple specifications and standards, including demilitarization requirements for small arms weapons, cybersecurity maturity model certification (CMMC) Level 2, DLA packaging requirements, component qualified products list (QPL)/qualified manufacturers list (QML) compliance, physical identification/bare item marking, and export control of technical data under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The item requires Government FAT with critical application item designation. Contractors must comply with ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 calibration standards or ISO 10012-1, utilize manganese coating per drawing specifications, and prohibit Class I ozone-depleting chemicals. The solicitation incorporates the DLA Master Solicitation for Automated Simplified Acquisitions (Revision 102, September 29, 2025) and applicable FAR, DFARS, and DLAD clauses. No small business set-aside is designated for this procurement.
