The solicitation number is SPE7L7-27-Q-0006, issued on October 1, 2026, with quotations due by October 8, 2026. The Government seeks four (4) units of a sealed lead acid, AGM storage battery (National Stock Number 6140-01-586-0666, Power Sonic Corp part number PSH-12180NB-FR, CAGE code 063A8) for delivery within 60 days after order (ADO) to Fort Polk, Louisiana. The inspection and acceptance point is destination. The RFQ is not a small business set-aside. Quoters must provide unit and total pricing, indicate price basis (commercial catalog, internal price list, or commercial sales of comparable quantities), specify FOB point and delivery terms, and complete various representations and certifications regarding hazardous materials, country of origin, quality assurance sampling per MIL-STD-1916 or comparable plans, and shelf-life requirements (Type I, 12 months non-extendable). Each battery and outer container must be marked "NONSPILLABLE BATTERY" or "NON-SPILLABLE BATTERY" per packaging requirements RP001. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) complying with Federal Standard 313 and hazard warning labels per the Hazard Communication Standard are required prior to award. Payment will be processed through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system using invoice and receiving report documents. The solicitation incorporates the DLA Master Solicitation for simplified acquisitions and includes numerous FAR and DFARS clauses covering topics including inspection, acceptance, hazardous materials handling, payment procedures, contractor compliance requirements, and various security and regulatory certifications.
