II. INSTALLATION SPECIFIC INFORMATION
A. BASE
(1) INTRODUCTION
Eielson AFB supports up to 4 Red Flag exercises as well as Northern Edge, Valiant Shield, and Cope North exercises refueling different types of aircraft. The wing also has a Joint Mobility Complex which is utilized by Fort Wainwright to deploy it’s soldiers often times departing in rotators or commercial flights. Eielson AFB is capable of servicing transient aircraft. Home station aircraft include 21 F-16s and the 168th Air Refueling Wing’s KC-135s. It is also the future home of the F-35s.

Normal hours for fuels operations are identified below. Contractor must be capable of providing 24 hours x 7 days per week PWS coverage when required including for weather, natural disaster, exercise, or other contingency operations.

(5) FACILITIES
