About this file
This document is a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition for a sole source acquisition. It describes the acquisition of fuel probes (NSN 1680-01-576-2562) to be provided by the sole approved source, Robertson Fuel Systems, LLC.
The acquisition is a 5-year IDIQ contract with no option, valued at an estimated $[REDACTED]. The statutory authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) for items available from only one or a limited number of sources. The justification notes that technical data is not available to permit full and open competition, and that the cost to the government to breakout the item and acquire it competitively exceeds the projected savings. A sources sought notice was posted, but only one response was received, confirming Robertson Fuel Systems as the sole approved source.
