Based upon the technical certification on file, technical data is not available and cannot be developed to permit full and open competition. The data presently available reflects the minimum needs of the Government.
When FAR 6.302-1 is cited for follow-on acquisitions as described in 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), an estimate if the cost to the Government that would be duplicated and how the estimate was derived. ______________________________________

The current AMSC codes for these NI N's indicates that the Government does not currently own the requisite technical data to purchase this items competitively.
The codes also indicates that the data cannot be purchased on reverse engineered economica ly. In the future if additional sole source NIIN's are identified to add to the covered population, these additional NIIN's will be added only after undergoing complete review, screeni
The overall cost of this procurement,w ll be considered fair and reason based on FAR part 15, Analysis methodologies to assure price reasonableness may include review or comparison to historical contractor sales, and/or analysis of certified cost or pricing data made available by the contractor
IAW FAR Part 10, each NIIN in the NIIN population was reviewed. EBS was reviewed and it was determined that all NIINs are currently sole source to Magellan Aerospace.
The procurement history was also reviewed to determine if there were any previously approved sources that may still have an interest and capability to produce these items
The procurement history for each item indicated that the preponderance of previous contracts were awarded to Magellan aerospace. Market research confirmed that Magellan aerospace is the only currently approved source for these items.
