1.) In relation to the below clause, we will only offer new items – no surplus or previously owned Government material will be submitted with our offer. Questions under this section only presumes surplus items would be offered – how would you like responses formatted?
52.211-9000 GOVERNMENT SURPLUS MATERIAL (NOV 2013) DLAD To be considered for award, the offeror must complete and submit the following representation with their offer.
Additional supporting documentation to demonstrate the surplus material offered was previously owned by the Government and meets solicitation requirements must be provided within 24 hours of request by the contracting officer.
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: This clause no longer applies, as its inclusion was provided within the original solicitation, which is what was likely referenced to come across this clause.
Reference Attachment #7 Amendment 0016 Continuation Pages for all applicable clauses/provisions & terms/conditions.
2.) Referencing solicitation Word document attachment SPE2D115R00010016.0004, section 2 (below). Which price book do we reference for the response, our Government Price Book or the Commercial Price Book? Is the Government price book not the same as attachment SPE2D115R00010016.0006 that we are submitting?
(2.) Identification of a Pricelist as the Basis for this Offer (check applicable, circle type, and attach copy of the pricelist).
a. _____ Manufacturer’s catalog / pricelist dated
b. _____ Dealer’s catalog / pricelist dated
c. _____ Retailer’s catalog / pricelist dated
d. _____ Other (specify)
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: The Government Price Book is indeed what you are seeing as SPE2D115R00010016.0006. However, vendors are also required to submit a copy of its Commercial Price List separately, whether it be the manufacturers Commercial Price List (if vendor is dealer/distributor) or a copy of its own Commercial Price List (if vendor is a manufacturer). This DPI question pertains to additional information relating to the vendors Commercial Price List submission.
