About this file
This is an Amendment to Solicitation (Amendment 0001) issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution Acquisition Operations for solicitation SP3300-26-Q-0241, effective August 12, 2026. The amendment provides answers to vendor questions regarding the K-Rail Barriers requirement and does not extend the offer receipt deadline. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the solicitation deadline through one of three methods: completing items 8 and 15 and returning one copy of the amendment, acknowledging receipt on each copy of the offer submitted, or sending a separate letter or electronic communication referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers. Failure to acknowledge receipt may result in offer rejection.
The amendment addresses 11 vendor questions concerning CLIN 0001 for 20 units of 10-foot Type K concrete barriers (Jensen Barrier 10# Type K, Part # BKBN10K or equivalent). Key clarifications include: no palletization is required for shipment; DLA will provide the forklift operator for unloading at DLA Distribution San Joaquin (BOSS Warehouse 29-5); connection pins are not required to be furnished; yellow paint is the Government's color preference (contractor may select yellow or orange); an advance delivery appointment is required through Truck Control Boss Michael Leon (209-839-5641 or michael.leon@dla.mil); no restrictions apply to delivery vehicle or trailer size; specific receiving hours and security requirements must be confirmed with Truck Control; multiple truckloads may be delivered on the same day; and only 20 units of 10-foot barriers are acceptable (not 10 units of 20-foot barriers).
