Defense Logistics Agency Distribution
About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Defense Logistics Agency Distribution solicitation for plywood tops. The RFQ (SP330025Q0182) is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for plywood tops, with NAICS code 321211 and a size standard of 600 employees. Key details from vendor questions include specifications for AC grade pressure-treated plywood, with dimensions of 16x39x0.5 inches and a half-inch thickness. Vendors can use their own pallets for shipping, provided they are compatible with the agency's material handling equipment.
The solicitation does not specify a fast pay contract, and the delivery schedule is to be determined at award. Vendors inquired about alternative plywood grades, grade specifications, and pricing, with the agency confirming that AC grade pressure-treated plywood is required. The agency confirmed that funds are available for the requirement, but did not disclose the specific budget. The RFQ was prepared using streamlined procedures for commercial items under FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13, with quotes being requested directly without a separate written solicitation.
