About this file

This is a public notice of special procurement issued by the State of Oregon Department of Administrative Services, Procurement Services, on behalf of the Oregon Department of Emergency Management, regarding the reinstatement and amendment of an existing contract with Alert Technologies, Inc. The procurement (SP-DASBO-00043002) authorizes continued use, maintenance, and support services for the OpsCenter program through February 28, 2026. This is not a competitive solicitation but rather a notice of approval for a sole-source contract extension. The public notice was published on March 25, 2024, and provides affected persons with seven calendar days from the notice date to submit written protests to the State Chief Procurement Officer regarding the special procurement approval.

The notice does not contain specific pricing information, set-asides, or funding amounts, as this is an approval notification for an existing contract rather than a new solicitation. Alert Technologies, Inc. is the incumbent contractor providing the OpsCenter program services to the Oregon Department of Emergency Management. Protests must be submitted in writing within seven calendar days and must include detailed legal and factual grounds for the protest, a description of resulting harm, and the relief requested. The protest should be directed to the State Chief Procurement Officer at the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, EGS-Procurement Services, with Warren Nickerson designated as the agency's single point of contact for inquiries regarding this special procurement.
