About this file
This document is a Scope of Work (SOW) for a bathroom design project at the Route 96 IRA facility located in Waterloo, New York. The project is being conducted by the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). The design vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive drawing designs and specifications in accordance with various New York State regulations and building codes. The design documents must be submitted to OPWDD at 90% and 100% completion, and the vendor will be required to provide two sets of 24" x 36" blueprints upon completion. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for June 26, 2024 at 1:00 PM, and bids will not be accepted from vendors who do not attend. The contract term is 30 days after completion of the project.
The design proposal must include a time schedule and a probable construction cost estimate. OPWDD does not provide partial payments and will not process payment until the project is "accepted for construction" and permitted. There are no set-aside requirements for this project, and prevailing wage does not apply. OPWDD will independently complete all applicable environmental testing associated with the work.
