About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the installation of a Mobile Wash Rack for the 58th Maintenance Squadron (58 MXS) Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Flight at Kirtland Air Force Base. The project involves installing walls for a Hydro Engineering wash rack (Model HIS-20M1-HP1-40-20), which requires five 8'L x 6'H side walls and five 8'L x 6'H gutter side walls. The installation must meet Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority environmental standards, with walls designed to contain stormwater and keep cleaning chemicals within the designated pad area.
The contractor is responsible for complete setup, including unpacking, placement, leveling, and verifying system functionalities. Work must be performed during normal duty hours (0700-1600, Monday-Friday), excluding federal holidays. After installation, the 377th Civil Engineering squadron will connect water and power, and the 58 MXS will notify the vendor to return within 30 days for a full operational system check. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, safety equipment, and comply with OSHA, EPA, and base regulations. Additional requirements include obtaining base passes, securing work areas, and performing a comprehensive operational check within one year of installation.
