The contractor must provide and install five exterior security doors while disposing of existing doors on the first and second floors of the Visitor Center building, a three-story structure that hosts 20-150 visitors daily.

The scope includes demo and disposal of existing doors and accessories, frame preparation/installation/repair, furnishing and installation of new doors and accessories, and lock installation with pin-code programming. Front doors should feature solid wood core with wood veneer and viewing panes; side doors should use fiberglass core with wood-style vinyl veneer to better withstand marine weathering. All doors must be finished per manufacturer recommendations and withstand oceanfront conditions, secured with marine-grade mechanical pin-code locks. First-floor doors must remain unlocked during operating hours for public access, while second-floor doors must remain locked before and after entry due to staff offices. Door dimensions are approximately 79x36 inches (front and second-floor side doors) and 83x36 inches (first-floor side door). The contractor shall provide an itemized quote listing costs for supplies, disposal, labor, and freight if required. The base contract period is three months from issuance. A warranty covering parts, labor, and hardware degradation for a specified period after installation is required. IT security requirements do not apply.
