About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a hardware and software upgrade for a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) workstation at Norfolk Naval Shipyard's (NNSY) Code 930 Shop 31. The project requires a contractor to install a new Dell Precision 3680 Tower Workstation with an ASUS 27-inch monitor, transfer existing files, configure the system, and calibrate it to ISO 17025:2017 standards. The contractor must also provide two days of on-site training for four NNSY personnel and perform regular preventative maintenance on the equipment.

Key requirements include transferring files from the current workstation, configuring the CMM manager system, and ensuring calibration meets original equipment manufacturer specifications. The contractor will need to obtain a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) card for site access and comply with controlled unclassified information (CUI) handling protocols. The work will be performed in Building 171, Room C1-39, with the period of performance and specific delivery dates to be determined. The solicitation (N4215824RC50645) is currently in the pre-solicitation stage under the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command.
