About this file
This is a Scope of Work (SOW) for the procurement and outfitting of one IAS MACH-A1M Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) for Port Security Unit (PSU) 311's Engineering Division, dated July 10, 2026. The UTV is a specialized compact flight-line Maintenance and Cargo Hauler (MACH-MIL) built on a heavy-duty John Deere TH6X4D diesel chassis. The vehicle must meet specific technical requirements including a 3-cylinder diesel engine (854 cc displacement, 13.6 kW/18.2 hp), fuel compatibility with diesel and JP8, continuously variable transmission with enclosed oil-bath final drive, and manual steering. The vehicle dimensions are approximately 60 inches wide by 109 inches long by 75 inches high, with six wheels configured as 6x4 (two front 22.5x10.00-8 tires and four rear 25x12.00-9 tires), all equipped with Multiseal Run-Flat Technology.
The UTV requires a military cargo bed with removable sides and drop-in tailgate (56 inches long by 46 inches wide by 8 inches high), integrated power lift tilt bed, 1,200-pound bed payload capacity, 1,400-pound minimum towing capacity with pintle hook coupler, and dedicated tie-down provisioning. Additional specifications include dual battery package with 40-amp alternator, Tektite Roll-Over Protective Structure (ROPS), integrated backup alarm, mounted fire extinguisher, dedicated rifle mount, heavy-duty black military-grade seat covers, and heavy-duty front rack for litter carrier or tactical medical evacuation support. The contractor must deliver the fully outfitted UTV with a full fuel tank, complete documentation package including operator and service manuals with 12-month or 1,000-hour CONUS warranty, and keyless ignition capability. The delivery schedule requires completion within 120 to 150 days from official contract award, with standard CONUS freight shipping included in the procurement price. Acceptance will be verified through specification audit, operational performance testing (engine start-up, drive-train testing, power lift bed mechanism, keyless ignition, and backup alarm verification), and workmanship and finish inspection for structural integrity and paint quality.
