The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Department of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) has requirements for materials and services to support FMS BPC Section 333 case DT-P-LZA via OCONUS Other Support Equipment and Other Technical Services. The Rotinor Seabob Black Shadow 730 Underwater Scooter and the Mistral C-Master DNS300 Diving Navigation System are used in an undersea environment to support EOD operations and missions.
2.0 REQUIREMENTS

2.1.1 Description of Materials
0001: AU Accumulator Box RBS 30 Cells 2018 Quantity: 2 Manufacturer: Rotinor Part Number: 13362
Intended Use: Used to power/operate Rotinor’s SeaBob Black Shadow 730 Underwater Scooters used by EOD technicians during underwater EOD missions. The operator can alternate individually between slow or high speed maneuvers through the water. The SBS 730 can be steered down to a depth of 60 m, thus making it ideally suitable for all kinds of underwater missions and special operations. These batteries (“Accumulators”) are not user/operator replaceable, due to delicate environmental/waterproofing seals and intensive replacement procedures, so scooters must be returned to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM: Rotinor GmbH) for replacement.
