STATEMENT OF WORK

FOR

Luke AFB TacPad Vertical Fabric Panel Installation - Bldg 23842

Date 4 September 2024

Request from: TSgt Bryan Turner, NCOIC, Plans and Programs, 607 Air Control Squadron

1.0 Scope of Work:

Install mounting hardware, measure, fabricate, and install vertical fabric panels on the east and south sides of Building 23842 (TacPad) at Luke AFB.

2.0 Background:

This project site is located at Luke AFB Bldg #23842 (TacPad). Current structure consists of a metal roof supported by 14 beams, dimensions 126' 3.5" L x 71' 5" W. The purpose of this project is to enhance the outdoor space of the TacPad by installing vertical fabric panels for shading and weather protection.

CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS:

3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:

Contractor will provide and install vertical panel fabric “Commercial 95 by Gale.”

Panel 1: 202sqft - quantity: 2

Panel 2: 335sqft - quantity - 1

Panel 3: 203sqft - quantity - 6

Panels will alternate colors: Yellow (445072) quantity - 4 and Blue (444938) quantity - 5

The installation work under this delivery order shall include, but is not limited to, the following tasks: Shade Industries will supply all parts, tools, materials, transportation, and certified labor required for the installation.

4. QUALIFICATIONS: Certified Shade Industries installers will perform the work.

5. SECURITY: The contractor shall ensure physical security for all materials and work under their control during the project. The government will provide security for materials during non-working hours. All on-site staff must pass a government background check and be U.S. citizens.

A list of on-site staff shall be provided to the government no later than 72 hours prior to their arrival.

6. CODES: The contractor shall comply with all applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Labor Department, and Arizona codes, laws, and regulations, as well as Luke AFB security and safety protocols applicable to the project location.

7. PERMITS: The government will provide all necessary permits for the project.

8. WASTE AND DISPOSAL: The contractor is responsible for the removal and proper disposal of all waste resulting from the repair and installation work. The work area shall be left in the same or better condition as it was upon arrival.

9. FIRE PREVENTION AND PROTECTION: The contractor shall comply strictly with all base fire regulations.

10. FACILITIES DAMAGE: The contractor is responsible for any damage to the facility caused by their personnel and shall repair such damages to the satisfaction of the Contracting Officer at no expense to the government.

11. COORDINGING AND SCHEDULING: The contractor will coordinate all work through TSgt Bryan Turner, NCOIC, Plans and Programs, 607 Air Control Squadron, and provide a written work schedule for approval prior to any work being performed.

12. WORKING HOURS: On-site work will be conducted between 0800 and 1430 hours, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays or Luke AFB down days. Any work performed outside these hours must be coordinated with TSgt Bryan Turner.

13. SAFETY: All on-site staff must comply with safety requirements applicable to the work being performed. The government will provide all required safety briefings to ensure the safety of contractor personnel.

14. PROTECTION OF PERSONS AND PROPERTY: The contractor is responsible for providing all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring it is worn by on-site staff as necessary.

15. UTILITIES: The government will provide electrical power as needed for the project.

16. FINAL INSPECTION: Upon completion, all work must meet or exceed Luke AFB project specifications. A final inspection will be conducted in coordination with the contracting officer to ensure compliance with all project requirements.
