About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement and delivery of a strand burner automation and data acquisition system for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head (NSWC IHD). The contractor is responsible for fabricating, delivering, and installing all specified equipment at the government facility.
The primary deliverables include 30 cloverleaf-style DIT brand strand burner heads rated at 10,000 PSI; a 10,000 PSI remote valve rack designed to control DIT strand burners with an additional set of transducers for calibration rotation; and a control console that centralizes valve operation and incorporates a data acquisition system capable of controlling and recording test cell pressure and temperature, handling burn rate calculations, and recording delta pressure measurements. The contractor must also provide complete installation, calibration, and operator training for all equipment. The contractor bears full responsibility for packaging, handling, and transportation of all components to NSWC IHD. The government will conduct inspection and acceptance upon delivery. The contractor is required to notify the Contracting Officer at least 30 days in advance if the delivery schedule cannot be met.
