About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the installation of two 60,000 BTU infrared natural gas heaters at the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Duluth, Minnesota. The project requires procurement and installation of heaters matching those previously installed on the east side of the boathouse, including mounting hardware, exhaust ducting, and electrical components. The contractor must ensure proper installation, system testing, heat distribution balance, and compliance with national electrical and building codes.

The related federal contract opportunity is a sole source procurement by the U.S. Coast Guard's Great Lakes District Regional Support Team, intended to award a purchase order to Gartner Refrigeration Company for the heater replacement. The procurement will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures for a purchase not exceeding $250,000, with a firm-fixed price contract under NAICS Code 561210. The sole source justification is based on unusual and compelling urgency, and the contract specialist is Kara Davis, who can be contacted at kara.a.davis@uscg.mil for any questions or competitive evidence submissions.
