CUSTOM GCMS SHIPPING CASE

1.0 SCOPE

Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC IHEODTD) Expeditionary Exploitation Unit One (EXU-1) requires a custom transport cases for government-owned Agilent 8890 GCMS instruments and accessories.

This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the specifications and requirements for custom transport cases for two Agilent 8890 GCMS instruments and accessories.

3.0 REQUIREMENTS

The Contractor shall create and produce a sensitive Laboratory Equipment hard body transport case or cases with foam inserts for EXU-1’s two Agilent GCMS instruments with 5977C MSD and its accessories to provide protection for the instrument and its accessories during shipment.

The Contractor shall create one initial production model of the custom designed foam inserts and hard body case with weatherproofing provided with closed PRV seal, not airtight certified, with bottom casters. The exact case dimensions, thus part number, will be determined during the design phase and agreed upon prior to production. Each case will be sized to remain 2-person transportable.

Attached to this SOW is the manufacturer’s specifications and list of accessories is provided. It is desired that the Contractor already own and have this instrument to allow for more accurate Measurements if possible.

3.2 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE

The work will be completed at the contractor facility.

3.3 Deliverables

1. The contractor will deliver the initial production Model within 120 days after contract award for approval. The government will provide acceptance or rework recommendations within 15 days after receipt of the model. If the government does not

2. Once the Contractor receives final approval of the initial production Model, the contractor will deliver approved Transport Case(s) for the two Government owned Agilent GCMS instruments with 5977C MSD with Accessories
