Statement of Work Summary: Replica BOMARC Missile

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) issued by the 87th Air Base Wing at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst for the design, fabrication, and installation of a 1:1 scale replica BOMARC CIM-10 missile and launcher assembly. The objective is to create a historical static display commemorating Air Force heritage. The contractor must furnish and assemble all materials to construct one replica missile and one scale replica launcher assembly, painted to represent those deployed at McGuire Air Force Base during the 1960s. The replica will be positioned at a 45-degree angle facing Pudgy Circle at the Joint Base Heritage Park, adjacent to Building 3011. Work must be completed within 365 days after contract award and performed at the contractor's manufacturing facility, with final installation coordinated through the 87th Air Base Wing Historian.

Performance requirements include site preparation and area inspection, construction to specifications of the original 1960s-era missiles, painting consistent with historical accuracy, and installation at the pre-coordinated location. The contractor bears full responsibility for ground preparation, transportation, and installation materials. All materials must be new (no refurbished items) and comply with bio-preferred product mandates from EPA and USDA designations. The contractor must provide a dedicated contract manager with full authority over daily operations, ensure personnel present a neat appearance with company identification, and adhere to all federal safety regulations, installation security policies, and smoking restrictions (prohibited within 50 feet of facility entrances). The government will provide no equipment, facilities, personnel, or utilities. Final inspection will be conducted by the government within two working days of contractor notification of completion.
