The contractor shall coordinate with BGAD officials to establish the extent and impact of the shortcoming in order to determine the extent of the remediation required.
7.7.1 If the quality of performance shortcoming results in the possibility of escaped defectives, then, as remediation, the contractor shall provide a fully proficient team of radiographers to verify the sentencing of all suspect inspection subjects. In this case, a fully proficient team may consist of members from the original team minus any members who contributed materially to the shortcoming.
23 April 2024 Page 13 of 12

7.7.3 Other shortcomings shall be remediated as determined through coordination with BGAD officials and subject matter experts.
7.8 All radiographers performing under this SOW shall remain in good standing with law enforcement and government authorities in order to maintain access into the BGAD restricted area unescorted.
8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
8.1 This section is not intended to convey requirements. Its purpose is to help with interpretation of the requirements, to provide guidance in successfully performing the requirements and to discuss broader objectives that may help contextualize the specific objectives of this SOW.
8.2 Radiographers are not obligated to interact with BGAD personnel beyond those interactions required by this SOW.
8.3 The contracting officer or assigned contracting officer’s representative will assign points of contact with which the responsible radiographer must interact and these assignments may change at any time.
8.4 At unforeseen times the production line and government personnel may cease work.
It is important to realize that the radiographers must continue to perform duties under this SOW (e.g., 4.5, 4.8) to the extent authorized and possible within given facilities and resources availability.
8.5 The team composition (re. 4.1.3) is a generic, role-based composition that is not tied to specific individuals. The requirement that this full composition be met during inspection periods should imply that the contractor will maintain certified reserves in order to keep the team fully manned as ordered.
