About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for noise dosimeter equipment procurement by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) through its Technical Support Equipment Cache (TSEC). OSHA requires new equipment packages for various field offices, with all procurement conducted through the OSHA Technical Center (OTC). The primary deliverable is a kit containing five personal noise dosimeters, one acoustical calibrator, a docking/charging station for five dosimeters, microphone windscreens, and a carrying case. The equipment must be similar or compatible to the Larson Davis Noise Dosimeter, Part #730IS-PK05-US, and meet ANSI S1.25 performance standards for personal noise dosimeters. Additional technical requirements include intrinsic rating for Class 1 Division 1 and/or Class 1 Zone 0 hazardous locations, Bluetooth connectivity, Windows 11 compatible software for data download and report generation, and ANSI S1.30 compliant Class 2 or better acoustic calibration capability. The equipment must allow subset selection of recorded data, internal memory storage of calibration data, and include ability to perform direct signal injection testing.
The vendor must ensure the equipment manufacturer provides comprehensive support including calibration and software support, product manuals, replacement components for maintenance (batteries, microphones, windscreens, mounting clips, and adapters), signal injection components, and in-house training and documentation for OTC to perform calibration and repair. Delivery is required within 15 days of award to the OSHA Technical Center in Sandy, Utah, with tracking provided through a Government Shipping Account. Total delivery orders will not exceed 164 kits during the specified performance period under the BPA. Equipment arriving with defects will be returned to the vendor at vendor expense and repaired or replaced free of charge under warranty. This procurement is currently in the Request for Information (RFI) phase, with RFI responses due April 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST.
