About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for installing a FEMA National Radio System (FNARS) B&W BWDS-90N antenna at the Nevada Division of Emergency Management facility in Carson City, NV. The project requires removing an existing damaged antenna and installing a new BWDS-90N antenna with associated transmission line and ground equipment.

The key requirements include installing the antenna in an "Inverted V" configuration across three masts, installing ~250' of LDF4-50A transmission line, performing 2-30 MHz VSWR and DTF sweep testing, and restoring any disturbed areas. FEMA will provide the antenna, transmission line, and associated hardware while the contractor must provide labor, tools, and equipment. The contractor must have certified tower climbers and carry specified insurance coverage including $100,000 workers' compensation and $500,000 general liability. The period of performance is 45 calendar days from award. Work must be performed during normal business hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday-Friday) and coordinate site access 72 hours in advance with the COR.
