4. DESIGN:

4.1 In accordance with the HAFB Design Guide and Appendices to this SOW, the Contractor shall submit a comprehensive existing conditions report that includes the Contractor’s evaluation of the existing take station equipment & piping. The intent of this report is to document any differing conditions between the current take station and the requirements of this SOW.

4.2 The Contractors Designer of Record (DoR) shall prepare design documents to install a heat driven loop natural gas heather that meets the requirements identified in Section 12 of this TO SOW.

4.3 The Contractor shall provide complete design documentation, to include calculations, design analysis & narratives, Catalog Cuts, engineering drawings prepared in accordance with the AutoCAD A/E/C Standards, and supporting technical documentation that demonstrates the Contractors compliance with this SOW. The final design specifications, drawings and calculations shall be checked and stamped by https://www.wbdg.org/ffc/dod/unified-facilities-criteria-ufc each professional engineer discipline of record. The Design Analysis shall include all relevant code references.

4.4 The contractor is not expected to encounter hazardous materials that will need to be abated and disposed of.

4.5 The following design submittals will be required. The 65%, 95%, and 100% design submittals shall be made in accordance with the HAFB Design Guide (Appendix 2).
