About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the 908 Devices MX908 Handheld Mass Spectrometer. The scope requires the vendor to provide one (1) 908 Devices MX908 Handheld Mass Spectrometer with various attachments and accessories for sampling and chemical detection. The instrument must possess specific salient characteristics, including the ability to detect and identify a wide range of chemical agents, narcotics, and explosives at trace levels. It must be portable, rugged, and field-deployable with battery power and hot swap capabilities. The related federal contract opportunity is an RFQ (Request for Quote) that is set-aside for veteran-owned small businesses. The RFQ is issued by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Research Laboratory (AFRL) for the procurement of the 908 Devices MX908 Handheld Mass Spectrometer.
