Statement of Work (SOW) for

Heritage Center/60 AMW

Vietnam Mural Presentation

The Heritage Center has a requirement to educate and enhance knowledge of the military’s proud tradition at Travis AFB. The purpose of the requirement is to raise awareness and develop esprit de corps throughout the local community.

Description: The contractor shall provide all tools, materials, labor needed to accurately depict an active maintenance area within an installation during the Vietnam war era and include the following: a C-141 being unloaded, an F-4 leaving the hanger, and a UH-1 aeromedical aircraft landing near a field hospital. This mural shall be a realistic portrayal with proper shading and dimensions. The mural will be approximately 16 feet tall and 64 feet wide in a U shaped manner. Due to an airplane in the middle of the floor, scaffolding shall be required. Contractor shall provide at no additional cost, one year touch up as requested by Government.

The Government has already primed the wall. Contractor shall perform any additional wall preparations and shall provide all materials to complete mural. The mural shall be digitally printed.

Clean Up: Contractor’s materials and equipment shall be neatly stored and protected at the end of each day. Clean up and removal of all debris, spoil, and waste shall be accomplished at the end of each work day.

Working Conditions: The contractor shall perform work in such a manner as to cause minimum interference to the facility. The contractor shall be responsible for correcting any damage caused by or incidental to, this project.

Hours of Operation: 0830 – 1630 Monday - Saturday

Evaluation: The contractor shall provide the following with quote to determine technical acceptability:

a. 2 of past sketches or examples similar to mural requirement

b. 2 previous artwork via photos similar to mural requirement

c. Sketch or rendering of mural requirement in Description Section

Delivery: Contractor shall finish mural within 6 months after contract award. Mural shall be display ready for immediate viewing.
