About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the purchase of multi-gas meters for the Occupational Safety & Heath Administration (OSHA) Technical Center (OTC). The SOW specifies that the multi-gas meters must be able to measure O2, CO, H2S, and LEL, and have an available sensor slot for future use. The meters must be handheld, lightweight, and portable for worker exposure measurement. The OTC has the institutional knowledge and capability to service and maintain the equipment.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice for the procurement of the multi-gas meters. This notice is for market research purposes only to determine if potential vendors have the capacity and experience to perform the required work. There is no solicitation or commitment to award a contract at this time. Small businesses, including 8(a) firms, are encouraged to participate in the market research. The federal agency involved is the Department of Labor Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management.
