About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity to procure and install data center UPS systems at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Menlo Park Division.
The SOW details the requirements for the contractor to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and services to replace twelve (12) four-post rack-mountable VRLA UPS systems, including power distribution, wiring, rack PDUs, and monitoring software. The contractor will also remove and dispose of the old UPS and batteries, install new circuit breakers, and perform migration and load balancing services for the data center network devices. The contractor must procure and install a standalone server-based monitoring system to monitor all power distribution devices. This is a pre-solicitation notice, and the VA is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of performing this work. Interested vendors should provide their company information, socio-economic status, and capability statements by the October 21, 2024 deadline. No solicitation document is available at this time, and the Government reserves the right to cancel the requirement.
