DESCRIPTION/WORK STATEMENT/SPECIFICATION

for Altair Monarch 2023 (v19) Software Licenses Renewal

1.0 Scope

This specification establishes a requirement for the use and support of the Monarch software from Altair that is currently installed on the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) Network. Monarch 2023 (version 19) is a Windows-based application that allows analysts to spend more time on analysis and less time preparing data. The user drops a file or web page onto the canvas, and it automatically begins to extract data into analytics-ready rows and columns, and it can connect to all major relational, big data, and other sources.

Scope Changes. The Contractor shall not proceed with any verbal or written change(s) to the scope of work from sources other than the Contracting Officer, who will provide changes in writing.

2.0 Background

Monarch 2023 software is currently installed on the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) Network. Monarch is used to extract data from data sources that are hard to use. This product cleans, transforms and aggregates that data into a usable form. Monarch is used to make users more agile, productive and self-sufficient. This product enables analysts to build models of data sources that extract data, rather than replace existing systems, and does not require custom code, scripts, functions or formulas. Monarch extracts data from various sources including ERP, GL, BI, CRM and other LOB and legacy systems; spreadsheets and desktop databases (e.g., Excel and Access); and relational databases using OLEDB and ODBC. Monarch can also export to a variety of popular formats including Excel, PDF, HTML, Access, XML and text. Monarch includes Monarch Data Prep Studio, Monarch Classic, and Monarch Swarm. Monarch is licensed through the Altair Data Analytics Units licensing model. The contract represents 5 users of Monarch.

10units = 1 user of Monarch. ANAD end users will need 50units to cover the 5 users.

ANAD End User requests Basic Support Services as outlined in the End User License Agreement: https://www.altair.com/data-analytics-software-license-agreement/.
