About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the acquisition of tactical backpacks and accessory kits to support the use of AN/PRC 117G tactical radios by Port Security Units during exercises and deployments. The SOW specifies the required characteristics of the backpack, antenna bag, antennas, headset, batteries, and other accessories. The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Department of Homeland Security U.S. Coast Guard, seeking offers for these tactical backpacks and accessories. The RFQ is a total small business set-aside, with offers due by June 20, 2024. The Government will evaluate offers based on price reasonableness and technical capability, and award a firm-fixed-price purchase order for the required items, which must be new and made in the USA with manufacturer's warranty.

(SLOCs), special missions, and coastal surveillance. PSUs are expeditionary units that conduct OCONUS
(Outside of Continental United States) missions in support of a requesting regional combatant commander. PSUs are unique as they can be quickly requested by the Department of Defense to support a
Geographic Combatant Commander.
