About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the repair and servicing of a Link-Belt Model RTC 8065II Rough Terrain Crane owned by the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. The SOW outlines comprehensive maintenance and repair services to be performed by a certified contractor, including transportation of the crane to and from the repair facility, complete inspection, replacement of hydraulic hoses, wear pads, and bearings, hydraulic oil and filter change, and a full operational test to ensure functionality. The crane must be returned to the Academy by August 28, 2026, establishing the critical deadline for completion of all work.
The contractor selected must be certified to perform the specialized repairs and maintenance on this specific crane model. The work encompasses both routine maintenance (oil and filter changes) and more complex repair requirements (component replacement), requiring the contractor to possess the technical expertise and equipment necessary to handle heavy equipment servicing. No pricing terms, set-asides, contract vehicle type, or response dates are specified within this SOW document itself, as this information would be contained in the associated solicitation (70Z03926QCGA00024) issued by the Department of Homeland Security U.S. Coast Guard.
