STATEMENT OF WORK

KC-135 JOINT AIRCREW TRAINING AUDITORIUM SEATING – 336 ARS

March ARB, CA

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1. The contractor shall deliver all items purchased to the building address located at March Air Reserve Base, California. Assembly and installation if included, may be required in accordance with this Statement of Work (SOW).

2. SCOPE

2.1. Requirements: A minimum of eighty five multipurpose tablet arm chairs for the Joint Aircrew Training Auditorium (JATA). Chairs must be a single mid back style seat, must have a removable tablet/desk arm, with strong back support, padded seating surface, portable with a built in handle and at least 2 casters or four locking casters. Chair materials must withstand heavy use, can be a two tone fabric or leatherette seating. Chair color should be a black or gray hues in order to match current color scheme. Tablets and arms must be a dark color or finish. Chairs must be antimicrobial or capable of being disinfected with common household cleaning supplies.

2.2. The Contractor must be able to deliver furniture within 12 weeks of award of contract. Shipping and delivery must be to the driveway of the building, no loading docks are available.

2.3. Upon delivery and after assembly of chairs, a joint inspection shall be performed by the Government and contractor representatives. Any damage noted during the inspection shall be the contractor’s responsibility for repair or replacement.

2.4. Contractor shall be responsible for all damages prior to assembly and any defects in the materials found during assembly. Contractor will replace or repair in a timely manner not to exceed 3 weeks.

3. GENERAL WORKSITE:

The Contractor shall prepare a pass information sheet identifying all employees, including subcontractor employees, who will be working on March ARB. The pass information sheet shall be submitted to the contracting officer at least 7 working days prior to contract performance. Upon completion of the contract or expiration of the passes, the contractor shall ensure that all passes issued to employees and subcontractor employees are returned to security. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in withholding of final payment.

3.1. Provide the following for access to the gate, there will be a background check run on each Employee.

Name: Date of Birth, Driver’s License & State of Issuance, Social Security Number

On the first day, you must bring your Driver’s License, Registration, and Proof of Insurance

3.2. Duty hours: M-F – 8 am – 4:30 pm

3.3. Speed Limit on base is 25 mph

3.4. Prior to exiting the base the speed limit is 15 mph

4. CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION:

4.1. The contracting officer will be the only individual authorized to amend or modify the terms of this contract.

5. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:

5.1. The contractor shall install furniture within 12 weeks after contract award, if included in purchase price.
