About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details technology upgrade requirements for two D-21 Monaco Fire Reporting Systems located at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana. The project involves comprehensive system modernization, including upgrading all systems to Windows 11, replacing CPUs, updating network topology for Risk Management Framework (RMF), and implementing various cybersecurity and software improvements. Key technical requirements include installing specific hardware and software components such as a Cyber Security Server, Trellix Endpoint Security, Microsoft Office licenses, Windows Server versions, workstations, monitors, and network infrastructure equipment.
The contract mandates work completion within 120 days of award, with installation scheduled during summer months when the Heat Plant is not operational. Contractor responsibilities include extensive system preparation and validation tasks, such as creating database backups, performing system-wide polls, checking UPS systems, verifying network connectivity, and providing operator training. The contractor must also maintain the upgraded systems for one year after installation and comply with strict security protocols, including anti-terrorism awareness training and adherence to force protection conditions. The project is being managed by the 341st Civil Engineering Squadron, with a Quality Assurance Evaluator overseeing the work.
