2. Contract Title Full Service for Steris cleaning and Sterilization systems

3. Background Contract is required to ensure that our Steris cleaning and Sterilization systems located at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center are safe and operating according to manufacturer’s specifications.

4. Scope The contractor will furnish all necessary labor, parts, transportation and equipment to provide preventive and full remedial service support for Steris cleaning and Sterilization systems, from 10/1/2020 through 9/30/2021, and four option years through 9/30/2025. The contractor shall provide all upgrades/updates to software as deemed appropriate by the manufacturer, Steris Corp., and annual chamber cleaning for each steam sterilizer.

5.2 Hours of Operation

All tasks for this contract shall be accomplished Monday through Friday, 8:00 am through 5:00 pm, excluding federal holidays.

6. Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE)/Government-Furnished Information (GFI). Overton Brooks VAMC shall not furnish parts and/or test equipment for the performance of this contract. It is the responsibility of the contractor to bring the appropriate equipment; and/or supplies necessary to complete all work, as required.

7. Place of Performance.

All work shall be performed at Overton Brooks VAMC.

8. Information Security Requirements Vendor may have access to sensitive patient information. The contractor shall comply with all VHA HIPPA and information security requirements concerning the handling of sensitive patient information.

9. Period of Performance Base Year: One Year ARO with Four One Year Options
