About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for repairing and reconditioning 40 Next Generation Radar (NEXRAD) RF Pulse Shaper Modules (ASN: R400-3A5, NSN: 6625-01-316-0780) for the National Weather Service. The SOW requires the contractor to restore the modules to "Like New" condition, including parts, materials, labor, inspection, and return shipping, while meeting all electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic specifications. The repair must adhere to provided technical documentation, and all repaired modules will undergo performance quality assurance testing by the National Reconditioning Center (NRC) in Grandview, Missouri.
The associated federal contract opportunity is a small business set-aside (NAICS code 811210) with a size standard of $34.0M, issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. 142082-25-0243. The procurement will result in a firm-fixed price purchase order from the Department of Commerce's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Key requirements include delivering each repaired module with a detailed repair report, providing a 1-year warranty against material workmanship and operational faults, and ensuring the modules meet original manufacturer specifications. No partial quotes or awards will be considered, and vendors must demonstrate capability to complete the equipment reconditioning requirement.
