STATEMENT OF WORK
FLORIDA KEYS NATIONAL MARINE SANCTUARY (FKNMS)
FENCE INSTALLATION AT KEY WEST PROPERTY
NANCY FOSTER CENTER
Background:
NOAA’s Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS) owns a facility located on a 10 acre campus in Key West, FL. There currently exists the need for fencing at the facility. The need is based on security concerns for both personnel and property at the facility location. The site has had numerous issues involving trespassing individuals both during working hours and after hours. This poses a safety concern for both the personnel, facility and vessels docked at the site’s marina.
It is proposed that the area be fenced off with gated access. This will provide for personnel safety as well as security for the facility and vessels after normal working hours.
