Nevada Bureau of Land Management Fire Prevention Billboards 2022
Statement of Work:
The Nevada Bureau of Land Management has a requirement for the lease of billboards throughout Nevada. In concurrence with Secretarial Order 3336 and the National Cohesive Strategy, BLM Nevada has identified the need for wildfire prevention ad campaign messages to be posted on full-sized billboards throughout the greater area of Reno, Carson City and southern Nevada. The rationale behind this sign plan assures that the signs will be placed in areas highly visible to the public following the main arterial routes. This Statement of work is for 7 full-sized static and 2 digital billboards with the opportunity to rotate between 5-10 different messages. Graphic design and existing graphic re-sizing, vinyl production, installation fees and the option to change graphics (digital only) must be included in the quoted costs.
Period of Performance:
5/1/2022 through 9/30/2022 (5 months) Desired Locations
1. Billboard Size Specifications – 13-17 feet tall by 40-50 feet wide.
· Location: Highway 395/I580 from Bordertown to Gardnerville
· Location: I-80 from West Reno to Fernley
· Location: Highway 50 from Carson City to Fallon
· Location: Digital billboard in Reno
· Location: Digital billboard in Carson City
· Hwy 160 near Pahrump; facing Northbound
· Hwy 160 near Pahrump; facing Southbound
· Location: I-15; 1 billboard for both directions of travel between Las Vegas and the Utah border; total of 2 structures with faces facing opposite directions.
2. Contractor will produce and install the printed vinyl message from BLM provided designs. The artwork/design for the billboard content is ready and will be provided digitally to the successful contractor following award.
3. Full Sized Billboard Signs for advertising. Minimum billboard size specifications are 13ft. x 40ft. The billboard location must contain a single ad, not a shared space.
4. Billboards locations must provide clear visibility (no obstructions) day and night for travelers.
5. Contractor shall track and provide a final report on the billboard locations with analytic data on how many people were reached (total estimated views).
Government Furnished Items:
1. The BLM will provide billboard designs to the contractor in the digital format required for placement on the static billboard sites.
2. The billboard graphics will be sent electronically, and the contractor may be required to do some minor manipulation to ensure sizing is correct.
Inspection and Acceptance:
1. The BLM will review and approve any final artwork before vinyl production, as needed.
2. The BLM will monitor these billboard sites periodically to ensure the messages are displayed at designated locations.
