This contract is for the deployment and installation of a VLBI Global Observing System (VGOS) antenna at the Fortaleza Geodetic Observatory (FGO) located at the Rádio Observatório Espacial do Nordeste (ROEN) in Eusébio, Brazil, nearly 30 km east of Fortaleza, Ceara ́ State, Brazil. The antenna is being delivered under NASA contract NNG17HS01C and is nearly identical to the existing antennas at NASA’s Kōkeʻe Park Geophysical Observatory (KPGO) located at Kauai, Hawaii and at the McDonald Geodetic Observatory (MGO) located near Fort Davis, Texas. This contact follows a similar process for the delivery and installation of the MGO antenna, also delivered under NASA contract NNG17HS01C.
