About this file
The document is a Short Term Contractors Template for CBP Contractor Information Sheet, which provides a comprehensive form for collecting detailed personal and visitor information for individuals entering a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility. The template requires submission 72 hours prior to arrival and mandates extensive personal details including full name, date of birth, citizenship status, passport information, social security number, and contact information. The form emphasizes strict security protocols, including the requirement that all visitors must be escorted at all times, with a maximum of four visitors per escort, and must check in and out at the security desk. Visitors must present a U.S. Government-issued photo identification and failure to provide complete information may result in denial of facility access.
The accompanying federal contract opportunity is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for up to 7 single-purpose canines for the Border Patrol K9 Center in El Paso, TX, issued by the Department of Homeland Security. The solicitation is 100% set aside for small businesses with a NAICS code of 112990 and a size standard of $2.75M. Quotes are due by August 20th, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST, with award determination based on a three-phase evaluation process considering breed conformance, availability, open orders, past performance, and price. The top-ranked offeror will be required to deliver canines for medical, physical, and behavioral evaluation, with the potential for replacement if canines do not meet CBP's stringent requirements.
