Scope of Work
Replacement of the Emergency Lighting Battery Backup
Miami ARTCC
7500 NW 58th Miami FL 33168
Contractor shall provide and install all parts, components, and materials necessary for the repair of two (2) Emergency Lighting Battery Backup Systems located at the Miami Air Routing Traffic Control
Center, also known as the Miami ARTCC or ZMA. All service under this SOW will be performed by experienced and certified technicians provided by qualified contractors registered by the US
Government to perform work on government owned facilities.
Contractor will be required to perform a final certification. All certificates to perform the final certification will be submitted to the Contracting Officer (CO) for review.
Material provided shall be but not limited to:
Myers Batteries: Model BAT CG12105H
DC Capacitors: CA10000C200
AC Capacitors: CO00030C370
All other material necessary to complete a finished project.
Note: Alternate material can be submitted if proven it is compatible with Lithonia Lighting Systems.
All material data to be submitted to the ZMA ESU Department for review and approval.
Quantities to be confirmed by the contractor prior to submitting a bid. A Pre-Construction site visit will be scheduled for all contractors that will be coordinated by the ZMA ESU Department. All attendees will be escorted to the project site(s) to inspect the project and ask any questions relevant to this SOW. Contact information to be distributed to all interested parties by the CO.
Additionally, contractor shall perform all the necessary diagnostic function tests and troubleshooting procedures to insure equipment is operating properly. A pre-approved work plan will be required prior to commencing work. Coordination with occupying building personnel of possible lighting blackouts when testing the equipment will be required.
All Labor, supervision, transportation, shipping and equipment necessary to provide this repair shall be covered in the overall quote submitted by the contractor. The government is requesting a “Firm
Fixed Price” for this project. Therefore no extra costs shall be added for additional labor hours or material. The Period of Performance (PoP) will be 30 days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).
Disposal of all used batteries and components will be the responsibility of the contractor. Disposal will be IAW all local, state and federal regulations.
The ZMA work hours are Monday to Friday, 0800 to 1700 hrs. Escorts to be provided upon entry to the facility. All personnel to remain under the supervision of the escorts at all times.
