About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the replacement of bowling pinsetters at the Dakota Lanes Bowling Center on Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota. The project involves removing 17 existing pinsetters from lanes #7-23 and installing 16 new QubicaAMF Edge String Pinsetters on lanes #7-22, with specific requirements to ensure seamless integration with existing QAMF equipment including the Hyperbowl system, Bowling Management System, and other electronic interfaces. The contractor must provide all materials, labor, and equipment, unload and secure new equipment, remove old pinsetters, install and configure new pinsetters, maintain a clean work area, and provide one day of training to bowling staff, with work to be completed during Monday-Friday hours of 0700-1800 while the bowling lanes are closed.

The SOW includes detailed security requirements for working on the Air Force base, mandating contractors obtain visitor passes, comply with base traffic regulations, and adhere to strict security protocols. Additional contractor responsibilities include performing pre-work inspections, obtaining necessary permits, managing potential hazardous materials, performing final cleanup, and repairing any damage to the facility. The project is part of a pre-solicitation opportunity specifically seeking capabilities from small businesses, 8(a), HUBZone, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small businesses for the installation of bowling pinsetters.
