MGCS HVAC Requirements Summary

This document specifies technical requirements for the procurement of two complete sets of HVAC units. Each set consists of two 5-ton, three-phase 208VAC heat pumps configured to operate at 60 Hz. Both units require a Meltric 07-P4061 control connector with standardized pinout configuration for common and spare connections, fan, 24VAC supply, heat, and cool functions. Each HVAC unit must include a condensation drain for external tube connection and dual air inlet/outlet ports accepting 16-inch diameter flexible ducting secured with band clamps.

Both units require custom metal frames designed for stackability and transportation, capable of supporting one additional HVAC unit and frame stacked on top, equipped with forklift pockets measuring minimum 8 inches wide by 4 inches tall. The frames must be removable using common hand tools within one hour for maintenance access. The "A" unit requires an HBL5100B9W (or compatible) power input connector and a 100-ampere disconnect panel with two 50-ampere circuit breakers—one dedicated to the A unit and one connected to an HBL560R9W (or compatible) output connector for the B unit. The "B" unit requires an HBL560B9W (or compatible) power input connector. These configurations enable parallel power distribution between the paired units while maintaining independent circuit protection.
