About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) requiring the purchase of one IDEAS-TEK PIC64HX1000-based rugged embedded computer system. The system must be based on the Microchip PIC64HX1000-AV processor and configured with 8 GB ECC DDR4 memory (single channel), one QSPI NOR Flash boot device, and 32 GB NAND Flash storage. The computer requires four TSN Ethernet interfaces with one 10 Gbps capability and three 1 Gbps interfaces, one PCIe Gen 3 (x4 or x8) expansion link, JTAG debug interface, watchdog supervisor with power sequencing, and 28 V nominal input power. The system must feature a fanless, conduction-cooled heat frame package meeting specified size constraints of approximately 11 x 6 x 3.5 inches and weight under 8.0 pounds.
The mezzanine/expansion slot must include minimum technical specifications of 2 UART-derived RS-422 serial channels and health and monitoring telemetry with at least one temperature sensor per module. The work location is NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center, 4800 Lilly Ave, Edwards, CA 93523, under the supervision of the Advanced Flight Computing Systems Lead Engineer within the Advanced Flight Systems & Instrumentation Branch. The period of performance is 12 months As Required (ARO). The document does not contain pricing information, response dates, award dates, contract vehicles, or set-asides.
